NVQ Assessors - Health & Social Care.

Our client, a successful, long established North West based training provider is offering excellent opportunities for NVQ Health & Social Care Assessors to deliver recently gained new contracts. They are looking for qualified work based learning Assessors that hold either the A1 or D32/D33 qualification. The V1 or D34 are 56edesirable although not necessary. You will have previous experience of delivering Health & Social Care NVQ qualifications.

Due to the nature of this position you must have exceptional organizational skills, be able to plan own diary, work using your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will be required to travel to the learner’s place of work at times within your region so a full, clean UK driver’s licence is essential as well as your own car.

You will have manage a case load of 35-40 learners engaged on Train to Gain and some Apprenticeship programmes, You must have the ability to train and assess learners in the work place on a one-to-one basis or on a group basis in order to develop the learners in their current roles. One of your main roles will be to identify opportunities for learners to demonstrate competence and collect evidence which is relevant to the qualification award in order for the learner to achieve a successful outcome. You will also be required to complete learner progression paperwork to the standard of awarding bodies and LSC funding bodies. You must be target driven.
